Erbakan has finally passed on.

He put his stamp on at least forty years of our political life. His foes were as numerous as his friends. On the topic of Turkish Islamism he represented a first in many things. However much it is desired to put him within conservative parenthesis, he spread a universal Islamic ideology on a broad base and established his politics on this.
While, on the one hand, trying to consciously load a historical perspective on his own society to inoculate them with self-confidence, on the other hand, with this motivation he pursued his claim of being the leading country to world Muslims. DEVAMI>>>…

ليبيا وتركيا .. تاريخ ونضال

منذ اليوم الأول لأحداث ليبيا تهيمن معالجة سطحية إلى حد كبير من قِبَل الإعلام التركي على تناول تطورات الأحداث في ليبيا، وهو ما ينطبق أيضًا على تناوله للأحداث في الدول العربية الأخرى. فالإعلام يتحدث عن ليبيا وكأنه يتحدث عن دولةٍ ما على الخريطة … وكأن تركيا لا يعنيها في تركيا سوى مواطنيها وعمالها الأتراك ومنشآتهم الصناعية، دون التطرق إلى أي روابط إنسانية أو ثقافية أو تاريخية تجمعنا بليبيا. فالإعلام يقدم لنا العلاقة التركية الليبية في مستوى أقل من العلاقات التركية مع الصين أو إيطاليا. بل إن الحكومة التركية عندما امتلكت الشجاعة لتوجيه تصريحات إزاء الشأن المصري، إذا بها وهي تحاول اتخاذ موقف ضد القذافي توجه إليه رسائل بعيدة عن الروابط التاريخية بين البلدين.
